THE ROAD I LOVE BEST
A long-haul trucker's running commentary from behind the wheel — the genius doing a buck-fifteen, the guy eating soup at seventy-five, the granny flipping birds at a carload of teens. He's been Fargo to Arizona, Bakersfield to South Daytona, Maine to the Gulf, and none of it moves him. The bridge is where the joke stops: "I see more bugs than I see my kids." Everything he's seen is a way of counting what he's missed, and the only road that matters is the one pointing home.
Themes: trucking, life on the road, home, family, distance, working man
Sync feel: open highway, road trip, small-town arrival, homecoming scenes, blue-collar character intros, opening or closing credits
Mood: good-humored on the surface, quietly homesick underneath
